The criteria for an "eligible" case is: status HiPri or ASAP, client 00101, 00102, 00103, 00105, or 00108, appointment class = "ED". Further, if the client is 00108 the point of care must be 7 COV/COVUC, 73 MPVUC, 34 NUCC/NEWC/NEWUC, 56 NBUC, or 67 RUCC/SMC/RLUC.
For each eligible case the monitor determines how long ago it was ready to read in PACS.
For AMC (00102) the monitor determines how long ago it went to "exam end".
If a CT case was ready to read in PACS 35 or more minutes ago, or an XR case was ready to read in PACS 45 or more minutes ago, the monitor considers this case "late".
When there are 4 or more "late" cases (ED, CT or XR, any combination of statuses, clients, and pt. of care for 00108) the monitor sends out an alert or sets the "URGENT:" message.
When an ePrelim or eFinal is created, or a result arrives, the case is no longer at HiPri or ASAP and is no longer eligible for notifications.
iRad does get the "case has been read in PACS" event but that does not affect the status of the case.
